1. Coins are digital goods
Coins are a virtual, in-app currency, delivered instantly and electronically to your wallet the moment a payment is confirmed. Under Indian consumer protection rules, a digital good that has been delivered at the time of purchase is generally not eligible for the same cancellation window as a physical product.
2. No refunds after credit
Once coins are successfully credited to your wallet, the purchase is final and non-refundable — whether or not you've spent the coins yet. This includes coins bought as part of a discounted package or a first-purchase offer.
3. Failed or duplicate payments
If an amount was debited from your account or card but the corresponding coins were not credited to your wallet, or you were charged more than once for the same purchase, this is not covered by the "no refunds" rule above — it's a payment error, and we'll fix it. Contact us with your payment reference ID (shown in your bank/UPI app or payment confirmation) and we will:
- verify the transaction with our payment partner;
- credit the missing coins to your wallet if the payment did in fact succeed; or
- if the coins can't be credited for any reason, refund the debited amount to your original payment method.
We aim to resolve verified payment errors within a reasonable number of business days of your report.
4. Technical issues during a call
If a call disconnects or fails to connect because of a fault on vispr's side (for example, a platform outage), we may, at our discretion, credit a goodwill amount of coins to the affected caller's wallet. This is offered as a goodwill gesture, not a cash refund, and does not apply to call issues caused by your own network connection, device, or the other party's availability.
5. Host earnings are not "refunds"
Coins purchased by callers cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash by callers under any circumstance. Only approved hosts earn a payout, calculated from their earnings balance under separate host payout terms available inside the app — this is a different process from a caller refund and is not covered by this policy.
6. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer for coins that have already been credited and used is treated as a violation of our Terms & Conditions, and may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
7. How to request a correction
To report a failed payment, a duplicate charge, or a technical issue during a call, contact us with:
- the phone number linked to your vispr account;
- the approximate date and time of the purchase or call;
- your payment reference ID, if available.
