Delete your account

You can request deletion of your vispr account and the personal data linked to it at any time — whether or not you still have the app installed. This page explains both ways to do it, and exactly what is and isn't deleted.

1. Delete from inside the app

If you have vispr installed, this is the fastest way:

  • Open vispr and go to Profile → Settings → Account;
  • Tap Delete Account;
  • Confirm — you'll be asked to verify it's really you before the request is submitted.

2. Request deletion here (no app needed)

Don't have the app installed anymore, or would rather not reinstall it? Submit a request below and we'll process it manually. Please use the phone number that's linked to your vispr account, so we can find the right one.

3. What gets deleted

Once your request is verified, we delete:

  • your profile — name, avatar, bio, preferred language;
  • your phone number and account credentials;
  • your host voice-intro recording, if you submitted one;
  • your coin (vispr Pass) balance and host earnings balance;
  • your device/push-notification tokens, ending future notifications to that device.

4. What we're required to keep

A small amount of information is kept even after account deletion, because we're legally or operationally required to:

  • Transaction records — a record of coin purchases and, for hosts, payouts, kept for accounting and tax purposes as required under Indian law;
  • Reports and safety records — if your account was the subject of a report or safety investigation, a limited record may be retained to comply with our obligations and protect other users;
  • Pending host payouts — if you're a host with an earnings balance still owed to you, we'll settle that payout before completing deletion, or ask how you'd like to proceed.

None of this retained information is used to keep operating your account or matching you into calls — it's kept solely for the reasons above. See our Privacy Policy for more on data retention generally.

5. How long it takes

Placeholder — confirm your target: the turnaround below is a starting point; tighten it once you know your actual internal process (a common range is within 30 days of a verified request).

In-app requests are processed automatically and take effect immediately. Web requests submitted through the form above are verified manually and completed within 30 days — we may contact you at the email or number provided to confirm the request is genuinely yours before deleting anything.
