1. Our commitment
vispr strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form — including but not limited to the creation, possession, distribution, or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, or any sexualised content or contact involving a minor. This applies across every part of the Platform: user profiles, voice calls, host applications, and any communication conducted through vispr.
Any account found to be engaging in, facilitating, or attempting any of the above is permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities, as described below.
2. Age requirement
vispr is intended solely for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create or hold an account. Phone number verification via OTP is required to sign up, and we act immediately to remove any account we identify as belonging to a minor.
3. Prevention & safety measures
We take the following measures to reduce the risk of CSAE on vispr:
- Phone-verified accounts: every user must verify a real mobile number via OTP before using the Platform, which deters anonymous and disposable-account abuse.
- Host application review: anyone applying to become a host submits a short voice-intro recording that is reviewed internally before approval.
- In-app reporting & blocking: every user can report or block another user directly from the app at any point, including during or after a call.
- Account action on report: reported accounts are reviewed, and any account connected to CSAE is permanently banned and referred to law enforcement.
- No persistent call recordings: vispr does not record or store the audio content of calls, which limits the platform's exposure as a channel for storing or redistributing exploitative material.
4. How to report a concern
If you encounter any content or behaviour on vispr that you believe involves CSAE, please report it immediately using either method below:
- In the app: use the Report option available on a user's profile or from the active/recent call screen.
- By email: write to safety@tangaroolabs.com with as much detail as you can provide (the user's profile/phone details if visible, and a description of what occurred). We treat every report of this nature as urgent.
Do not attempt to investigate, engage with, or gather further evidence from a suspected offender yourself — report it to us and, where appropriate, to local law enforcement directly.
5. How we respond
On receiving a CSAE-related report, we:
- suspend the reported account immediately while we investigate;
- permanently ban any account we confirm to be in violation of this policy;
- preserve relevant account and usage records as evidence, consistent with our Privacy Policy;
- escalate the matter to law enforcement and, where applicable, national reporting bodies.
6. Cooperation with authorities
vispr cooperates fully with law enforcement and child-protection agencies in India and, where relevant, internationally, in relation to any investigation involving suspected CSAE. We respond to valid legal requests for information in accordance with applicable law.
